I bought this product because it has a great quality and wide capacity.
I like this product because I can put all my information in it. I hate nothing about this product because it is very helpful and I'm sure that everyone will want to buy it.
The only disadvantage of this product is it cannot be portable because it always needs connection with electricity.

A FANTASTIC EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE, NEAT DESIGN, NO MULTIPIN PLUG, JUST A SMALL POWER SUPPLY AND PLUG. PLUG AND PLAY BRILLIANT,UPGRADABLE TO USB 3 WITH ADDITIONAL ADAPTER.
THIS DRIVE IS VALUE FOR MONEY. SMALL NEAT WELL DESIGNED, SITS UPRIGHT CABLES AT THE BOTTOM,AND THEY DON'T GET IN THE WAY,

Overall incredible value and performance. I can not believe how quiet the drive is. I can not tell it is even on. Much much better than my half dozen Lacies. The imac this is attached to is top spec and is getting speeds on the USB2 that are better than the FW400.

Pros and cons:

+ Price. 2TB under £100?
+ Noise levels non existent (Not all batches are the same though)
+ Fine for editing even with a power hungry beast like FCP X
+ Best for backing up. (ie. work from your local HD and then backup projects)
+ Upgradable interface. The drive has no ports, it sits on a dock that has the ports so this is quite a brilliant future proofing feature which I have not seen before. USB3 is the obvious upgrade.

- Uninspiring black design, but does not feel cheap at least
- FW800 would have been nice but that would push up costs. If you upgrade to USB3, that is by far much faster however.

great product,I bought because I had many other before and I coul use only half year and they are broken. I've got another Seagate what I bought 2 years ago and it is working very well,just 1TB a bit small,this one very fast and 2TB big enough, thank you very much, the Seagate always gave me the best on good price
