This Sigma Pentax lens can also be used with smaller APS-c size sensors that have a corresponding increase in focal length to about 35 to 105mm. It’s a standard zoom lens that requires a minimum focusing distance of 15.7 inches. The Sigma 24-70mm lens for Pentax is suitable for macro photography with a maximum magnification of 1 to 3.8. There is no need for front lens rotation with its front focus system. The Sigma EX DG Macro 24 mm-70 mm F/2.8 lens for Pentax is compact and lightweight, weighing only 28 ounces and is about four inches long.
