Sony CDX-S2000 CD In Dash Receiver

This player is great value - especially via eBay - and has a great performance specification. Plenty of power, four channels, decent quality sound, nice display with face-off, auto-set for the clock, a respectable frequency range, and generally as good as you would expect from those masters of media, Sony.
The only significant drawback comes to light when installing it in an ancient, crappy car (my sons vintage Peugeot 106), where the rock-solid suspension causes CD-skip.
Other than that, a solid buy for not much money...

Sony CDX-S2000 CD Player does exactly what it says on the box. It is somewhat pretty to look at, it does all that it does within the box only, it has an output should you wish to add an additional Amp (for what purpose, I dont know!!) but it has no connections for a CD changer, it has no Bass or Treble control but it has a EQ which does nothing out of the ordinary, though saying that, it is a budget player and still, it can play CDs like the best of them.

this is the sony eplod head unit and works best with the matching sony explod speaker sets i have 2x 200watts in rear and 2x 150watts in front and found that i didn,t need to fit my amp as these give more than enough power and with 6 different eq settings to choose from i,m sure anyone who buys the complete set will be more than happy.

AFTER SOURCING ANOTHER FACIA PANEL FOR THE CD PLAYER,NOW UP AND RUNNING OK., WITH APPROPIATE CONVERSION HARNESS FROM MY ROVER PLUG IN, TO THE SONY HEAD UNIT.STILL NOT GOT THE" STEERING CONTROLS" TO OPERATE YET,BUT WILL TRY AGAIN LATER.
