Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX30V 18.2 MP Digital Camera - Black

This camera is BRILLIANT, I had moved away from Sony to Panasonic as I wanted a compact superzoom & sony didnt have a high enough one at the time. There was nothing wrong with the Panasonic - but I missed the Sony's incredible low light capabilities, and panorama. I was finally in a position to move back to Sony, which I did the first chance I could.

The HX30 is not the prettiest camera around, its not as bad as the photo looks, and feels a little more plastic than before. But wow the Zoom and low light surpasses my previous Sony models. I tested it at an Usher concert where I was way up in the back of the upper circle - my pictures were perfect, up close full zoom & no flash, and he was moving around that stage non stop!

I like the ease of use a point & shoot camera gives, point & click then straight into your back pocket, still getting photo's that you can be proud of.

I have always brought my camera's from Hong Kong as they are much cheaper, and have never had any issues.

I normally use a Nikon SLR but was requiring a more compact camera when going on holiday. The Sony DCS-HX30V has exceeded expectatios in being easy to use , I used the automatic setting throughout a 3 week holiday, and provided some really good quality pictures . It is very good in low light situations without using the flash and I have been hughly impressed with the 20x zoom.

Great camera, great value of money, excellent picture quality, 20x zoom in such a compact camera- just perfect for travel, itc.
I've got also Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX200V 18.2 MP Digital Camera and I do not see any difference, these both cameras are great! HX30 also has a WiFi build in, so we are able to share pictures in any wireless network, no need to connect everytime this camera to wire just to see picture on our computer or to remove a memory card and such a waste of time... That option makes this camera just perfect
