Sony Ericsson C510
I have had this phone for over a month now and i realy like it alot, where do i start, really nicely designed, large and clear screen, excellent 3.2 mega pixel camera, battery life is good, very good sound quality from loud speaker, the weight of the phone is aprox 92g which is quite light as i dont like very big and heavy phones, the media player is excellent, the phone has face detection and smile shutter which is very cool, this phone also has screen rotation which is brilliant for watching videos or viewing photos in portrait or landscape view, this phone also has 3g and HSDPA which makes internet browsing and downloading very quick, to be honest this phone has so many great features that i could go on and on, all in all this phone is absolutely brilliant, im really happy with mine so i would recommend this phone to anyone, some people say the phone buttons are small but its just a matter of getting used to them which doesnt take you very long, 10/10 from me for this phone, Sony is the BEST. C510 Sony Ericsson mobile phone.
I have had this phone since it became available, and have had great service from it for the last 30 months. Not only is it slim and compact it has a good sized screen and a more than adequate camera facility. Voice operation is brilliant for in car, and business use,as is the MP3 facility for my favorite tune selection, and between the phones own memory and that of the 2mb memory card all my photos and family videos can be stored or downloaded to my pc with ease. Some phones may have some better facilities than this phone but as an all round camera phone its pretty amazing.Tri band, use abroad, internet, you tube, games this phone has the lot and as i have been on vodaphone for about 12 years i have had no problems ever with signal strength or connection difficulties. I have just bought this phone again, BRAND NEW on ebay for my 17 year old lad for less than £80.00.....Absolute bargain !Some phones may be more up to date, but they come at a price or a monthly contract that is too expensive or to restrictive. I recommend you have a good look at this phone, its excellent value.

Sony Ericsson C510 my feelings after 2 months of use.
The Sony Ericsson C510 is still one of the best non touch screen phones you can but in my opinion.
The C510 is a candybar style phone which means it has no slide or flip function and no touchscreen technology either. It does have a slide down cover on the rear facing 3.2 mega pixel camera on the rear of the phone but that is it.
Though the C510 maybe be getting on a bit in light of how fast mobile phones have progressed in the past couple of years, it is still a highly versatile phone that should meat most people's demands if what they want is a phone.
It biggest plus points of this phone is that it gives the user a phone that they can depend on at a reasonable price. Solid battery life of about 10 hrs that I found could be greatly extended by turning of 3g unless I needed it. A simple and good OS that feels intuitive to use that also let you customize the nave key shortcuts to your own desire. All housed in a tidy frame that feels sturdy and well made. The only slight down p[oint is the 3.2 camera is not all the great especially in low light conditions.
Overall the C510 is the closest handset I have found to rival my old Nokia 6310i and that certainly is high praise for the C510.
In summary if you need a phone that is a phone above all else and not a multimedia/games device then the C510 is one of the best you can get in my opinion.
Sony Ericsson C510 Cell Phone - great little phone
Sleek, loads of great features, long battery life, Sony Ericsson PC Suite makes synchronising a snap, threaded text messaging, high speed data.... I've had it for over a month now and love it.
Camera is basic compared to many phones you can get now, but more than adequate for anything I'm likely to use it for, not being a camera phone addict. The camera is handled much better than in the once popular K800i (except it only has an LED flash, not xenon sadly), and the phone is half the thickness and with a very well designed and sleek camera cover.
Great phone - I'll be keeping it for some time.

Sony Ericsson 510, a lovely little phone
After having a touchscreen phone that regularly jammed up I reverted back to a normal button phone. Both my daughters swear by Sony Ericsson and now I see why. This phone is wonderful, easy to use and a lovely size and weight to hold and use. I wasn't too bothered about the music side of things ( bit to old for walking along road subjecting others to my taste in music!)I wanted a reasonable camera and this has that, it good enough for everyday quality pics and for ebay pics. I suppose my only criticism would be that the camera slide cover has an odd movement that feels very delicate and has a couple of times slid open in my bag when something has pushed against it, having said that I love this phone and unless this feature does break off I will defend this phone as a wonderful, very functional item that I love using.
