I have the Sony Xbass MDR-XB300 Headphones, which coming from Sony, as always, provide amazing value professionalding sound. The bass from them is exceptionally powerful. However, with these headphones you get practically the same features, with a more medium effect on the features, but at the same time they provide a great experience. They are light weight, ergonomic and don't actually hurt your ears after a while. For the price, from the seller, including postage and packaging is a steal. I would recommend these headphones to anyone for home listening and outdoors listening, they are just perfect for the job.

Good Quality, full sound - excellent for your budget

Created: 09/02/08
Sony has always had a good name when it comes to headphones with in a given budget and the Sony MDR-V150 doesnt let that name down. I bought my pair because, compared to other headphones in the same price range they stood out as better in every Technical statistic. But stats are not the end all be all of a good pair of headphones, when I tried them out I found myself lost in a world of music again. Songs that I had gotten bored with had new life... you see I was used to a "popular Brand" in ear head phone before, but the MDR-V150 has a wider dynamic range really made the bass lines come to life and the subtle high dance around in my head. Also My ears didnt hurt after three hours of solid listening which I couldn t do with my old "in ear" head phones. Bottom line if you are looking for a good headphone and dont want to pay through the nose for it, I would recomend the Sony MDR-V150's.

Can't beat them for the money

If you want a good pair of headphones with a reliable brand name then these will not let you down.
For the price, you get a decent sound quality with lots of bass and not too much coloration. The sit nicely on you head in a traditional way and there is plenty of adjustment. The pads are solid and comfortable even after a couple of hours (and they do not make my ears sweat). Lead length is good and the cable splits so that on cable goes into each earphone – not this into one and over the headset stuff.
I would recommend them to you.

Sony MDR-V150 Professional Headphones

Created: 07/09/07
A decent set of headphones.
These are in the original "over the head" hi-fi style, but are not too bulky, and are pretty lightweight. Sound quality is pretty good (as with most sony headphones) and price on the high street is £15 - £20.
They come with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack plus, plus an adapter to the bigger size hi-fi jack.
