good sound - not too bulky
A good little set of headphones.
These are in the original "over the head" hi-fi style, but are not too bulky, and are pretty lightweight. Sound quality is pretty good (as with most sony headphones) and price on the high street is £15 - £20.
They come with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack plus, plus an adapter to the bigger size hi-fi jack.

Sony MDR-V150 Professional Headphones
Well made, strong cable and plug. Let down by lack of high frequency responce. Ok for average listening. Not Professional quality though.
How not to annoy the neighbours!
This item was bought for an elderly friend for use with her TV. To overcome the high volume I suggested a set of headphones and these Sony MDR-V150 are excellent with good sound quality, comfortable without causing sweating over the ears as common with larger headsets. So the user is very pleased with them and so are the neighbours. I bought an extension lead as the lead length is only 2 metres.
Its a really good product.
Its a really good product but headphones break easy.i am currently on my third pair as the actual headphones break quite easily the plasitc that is holding them in place is to fragile and not strong enough apart from that the headphones are the best i have had to date. I have no idea why i have bought them i was just browsing through ebay and came accross them and bought them and wasnt let down despite the easy breakage they are a perfect fit for any occassion whether you are using them for the actual studio recording or for home use or even when you go out and about they are perfect as they block out the sound from unwanted noise...Ratings out of 10 would have to be 7/10 due to the easy breakage.
Twice as Good as Headphones Twice the Price!
| Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.
These are great for the price large snugly fitting cans, generous length of cord and actually a pretty comprehensive frequency range. Ok they may not be as staggeringly brilliant as the £300+ cans you find in studios but against £50-£100 headphones they are just as if not better. When you bear in mind these are sub £25 thats pretty impressive! For home use and indeed home studio use these are great plenty of beef to the lows and balanced. I'm on my 4th set I trust them and know they don't do quirky things they're good solid work horses.
