Sony PlayStation 2 GT3 Racing Pack Black Console (NTSC)

I bought this product because I really wanted to play on some old school PS1 and PS2 games (Spyro, Grand Theft Auto etc). Had some difficulty actually getting a PS2 on ebay because I kept getting outbid (must not be the only one who desperately wanted one!) so I was thrilled to bits when I finally got this one for just £20.
Console is fab, in brilliant working order and offers hours and hours of entertainment. Also came with a memory card and 2 controllers, as well as all the leads etc.
In my opinion, the PS2 is much better than more modern consoles

With my PS3 recently dying and not having enough cash to replace it, I had a look around at a few consoles. X-box does not appeal, I know several people who are on their 3rd one. Still not entirely convinced by the Wii either. Then it struck me. Which console is affordable, reliable, and has a huge range of quality games? There was only one answer, so I snapped up a PS2 slim for £28 with 6 games. Upon arrival I checked it worked, (as if there was any doubt) and got to work to add to my game collection. I have currently bought about 20 titles for prices on average ranging from 1p to £2.

If there is a better value console around at the moment I would be surprised. Graphically of course it is way behind it's more recent successor but for pure fun gameplay it holds it's own.

With Buzz Quiz and Guitar Hero and Eye Toy, there's great social gaming to be had, and classics like Final Fantasy, GTA and most of the LEGO games too.

There's a reason that the PS2 is the best selling console of all time, and that doesn't even include pre-owned sales.

If you're in two minds about buying a PS2, don't think, just get one. You won't be disappointed.

Wow the new PS2 opens the world up to a new era of gaming with wonderful graphics and sound, you have a controller that errr controls things on the screen allowing you to jump and fight and things (but not in the driving games, in these you go faster and can even slow down)!!

I am unsure why I have been asked to leave a review for a PS2, if people are not sure what they are capable of and can access ebay they will be able to gather far better information from t'internet!

But it gives me a chance to act a bit daft and maybe entertain the odd person who gets lost in the review section Have a great day now :-)
