Sony PlayStation 2 Limited Edition Zen Black Console (PAL)

The PS2 is considered by most to be the greatest console of all time, From it's release it had a great affordable retail price, impressive hardware specs, excellent design, but most of all, the games to back it up. With easily the largest line-up of games of the last generation of consoles, The PS2 stood above the competition. Considering the PS2 was released over 10 years ago and is still selling more copies per year than Sony ever imagined, it's not doing too badly and refuses to die. Known for it's ease of use, simple interface, and high production quality, there really is nothing bad that can be said about the PS2, with added features to allow CD/DVD playback, excellent accessories including the BUZZ game buzzers, EYE-TOY camera, Guitar, Microphone, Dance-Mat, and even online play. It offers everything, With games for every age, and don't worry, you won't run out of choice any time soon, with 2400+ games for the PS2, it'd be a huge mistake to not get one.

The PS2 offers outstanding value for money right now, for mobile use in the car it comines cost effective gaming with games from only 50p and a DVD player requiring only one AV output. Buy a bundle you get more for your money, watch out for useful extras such as dvd remote, and for family fun, cordless controllers, or games like Buzz quizzes and Singstar Karaoke game.
Now fitted in the car with dual screens for happy longer journeys, no longer are we there yet, but cant we take the long route!!
Well worth a punt, with massive choice of games, not state of the art, but wont break the bank, pound for pound more fun per pound will be hard to find

ps2 is good with many games to choose from everyone one in the family regardless of age will have fun with this product. Connects easily to any television. Easy for children to use. Does have problems with overheating over time but this can be solved by just switching off the console for a few hrs and then restarting, most consoles can now be bought new for £30 for just the ps2 and 1 controller but very good value for money.

The bad: Still waiting for hard drive peripheral; Xbox's graphic capabilites are superior; only two controller ports.

The bottom line: The elder statesman of next generation consoles, the PlayStation 2 has the luxury of a year's head start and many solid games.

The playstation 2 may be a bit out of fashion due to more up to date consoles but it still serves its purpose.i bought this product for my nephews, they love it easy to use, they save the game any time wiv the memory card, only thing i dont like is how chunky it is but other than that its a plus.
