PS2 Slim Goodness Pinked up!
Created: 13/03/11
The Pink PS2 Slim is a sure fire hit with girl gamers and those who like the colour, its small form factor makes it fit nicely beside your TV and more pleasing to the eye compared to the lager "elder brother" PS2s which pre-date this model. This console as with the others in the Slim range feature on board LAN input for online gaming and built in IR reciever for use with the DVD remote which unfortunately is not avalible in Pink nor is the vertical stand which allows the console to be used upright alowing for easier placement. the official Controllers and memory cards can be found in Pink but are rare but not as popular as the default black ones. overall well worth looking into if your looking to buy a PS2 for a daughter, wife or girlfriend.

Satin Silver Slimline PS2 Console. The Sony PlayStation 2 may be smaller in size, but its appeal has never been bigger - the world's most popular console's refined exterior contains just as much power and even more features than ever before. Despite the fact that it now houses a NETWORK connector as standard, PlayStation 2 is now the quietest and lightest it's ever been. Whether you want to play games, DVDs, or CDs, a world of entertainment possibilities await you.
Satin Silver Slimline PS2 Console. Ther Sony PlayStation 2 is undoubtedly the world's premier games console, but it's also a fantastic DVD player straight out of the box. Simply pop your favourite film into the console and enjoy the superior picture, amazing audio and special features that DVD brings. Thousands of great movies can be viewed from the comfort of your home and with a great range of experience enhancing accessories available, you'll never need to visit the
cinema again!
While inheriting the basic functions and design philosophy of the current PlayStation 2 (SCPH-50000), the internal architecture has been completely redesigned, resulting in a slimmer and more lightweight design. Internal volume has been reduced by 75%, weight has been halved, and thickness trimmed down to 2.8cm (thickness of current model is 7.8cm.) Equipped with an integrated ethernet port for network gaming, the new PlayStation 2 sets new standards in the fusion of design and functionality.
Since its launch in November 2000, PlayStation 2, now in its fifth year has reached a consumer installed base of nearly 24 million units in the PAL territories. The exciting new design, combined with the price reduction in August will position PlayStation 2 for ever greater success over the next half of its life. There are already over 1,000 games titles already available for PlayStation 2 and many more scheduled for launch from leading publishers.

Its a playstation 2 , quite why ebay asked me to write a review for something that everyone and their aunty has played/owned/shoved under the stairs when they bought a playstation 3 i'll never know , but they did so here you are , it has a lovely black casing and a lid that pops up on a hinge , the power pack is superb and plugs in like it was ment to do just that , when you put in a game and turn it on guess what ,,,, it starts the game you just put in , then you can play said game using a controller that plugs into the front of the sleek black playstation 2 , owing to that fact this isn't new the games aren't new and you just have to accept that , but i bought this one for my mum so she could play lemmings every now and then , for this purpose it is second to none , , i hope this review helps you decide if you will part with twenty odd quid of your money to buy an old yet still capable games console then have ebay ask you to write a review !!!! ebay what a fantastic buying / selling format which in no way charges way too much in fee's and charges , and they're second to none when something goes wrong !!! and the "people" you speak to on the phone are just great , they have a level of understanding and grasp of the english language like no other , fantastic "people" , the review and sarcasm are provided free of charge !

Top selling console for a reason.

The PS2 is considered by most to be the greatest console of all time, From it's release it had a great affordable retail price, impressive hardware specs, excellent design, but most of all, the games to back it up. With easily the largest line-up of games of the last generation of consoles, The PS2 stood above the competition. Considering the PS2 was released over 10 years ago and is still selling more copies per year than Sony ever imagined, it's not doing too badly and refuses to die. Known for it's ease of use, simple interface, and high production quality, there really is nothing bad that can be said about the PS2, with added features to allow CD/DVD playback, excellent accessories including the BUZZ game buzzers, EYE-TOY camera, Guitar, Microphone, Dance-Mat, and even online play. It offers everything, With games for every age, and don't worry, you won't run out of choice any time soon, with 2400+ games for the PS2, it'd be a huge mistake to not get one.

Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography. I would recommend the director's cut that includes scenes about the relationship between the lead character and his estranged wife and helps you to understand the motivation behind his decision. The run time is 183 minutes for the directors cut and 120 minutes for the cinema version. I was, however, disappointed by the lack of extras, which any fan of this classic would expect to be included. There's only a 20-minute interview with the director and other shot "making-of" vignettes.
