i have myself one of these , it was perfect for wot i wanted all my books in one place its light, easy to read in day light, easy to operate extra storage just buy an sd card and u save the books to that.battery you can change if for ever reason it decide it dosent want to charge which are cheap and easy to mend. its small you can fit into handbag take it wherever and u can charge it with mains which take 3 hours to charge or by usb which can take but 4 hours,-only down fall if u drop it and the screen breaks its no good but for the prices of them you cant go wrong-good all rounder .

i would reccomend this one then the newer one as it dosent have a mains charge but does have little extras but i diffently reccomend this one.

Well this is my first ebook and I cant really compare it to other ebooks apart from what people have said in reviews.

Anyway, my first impression was "it's a lot heavier than I thought it would be" , I think I was expecting something lighter that a paperback but its like holding a heavy hardback.

Secondly, the contrast isnt amazing, is it just like reading a book, hmm wouldnt say that, but it's close I guess.

The font at the smallest setting is readable but I found too much shine on the screen, when I switched to medium font it reads well.

Ok so Ive gone on about the negatives so the positives now, its got great battery life, lasts weeks, has a dicitonary and can play mp3s ( dont think other ebooks do this ) its a quality build and obviously this biggest thing is the usefulness of being able to cary hundreds of books with you wherever you go.

If it was have the weight and got less glare it would get 5 stars but I have to drop 2 as I found these quite important

I was looking for a simple, reliable ebook reader that can read many types of documents. And I found it in Sony PRS 600. I recommend it to everyone who is fine with an ebook reader without wifi.

Having purchased one of these last Christmas, to replace a failing Kindle, I bought an additional one as a christmas present, this year, for my teenage grand-daughter.
A smart design is aided by the quality feel of the e-reader. It makes it a little heavy to carry in a pocket but feels sturdy and well assembled.
The dispplay is very clear, with the different scale fonts enabling easy reading in all daylight conditions.
The user interface is very intuiative and clearly laid out. Accessing, adding and deleting books is simplicity itself and the addition of an additional memory card mens you can carry more books than you can ever read!
Although such things are a matter of personal choice, I prefer this reader to the ubiquitous Kindle.
An excellent choice.
