Ive had the tablet for a week now and had no problems with it what so ever. I spent along time looking for a tablet, and nearly bought the asus only because of all the good reviews. When I went to currys/pcworld and had a look at the asus the screen didn't seem as responsive as the sony tablet, the sreen wasn't as bright neither. I paid 399 16gb wifi only, it has an sd card slot and you will have to buy a usb cable if you want to connect it to your pc. I have a htc phone and found the usb lead fits the sony tablet fine. You get the usual android market apps, and the first one to go on was angry birds because its law......... no lag what so ever very responsive screen, so you wont have to use the app killer because all the games on the tablet works fine. It comes with crash bandicoot and a pinball game from the ps1 days, crash is brilliant. Front and back camera, with 720hd recording which is very clear. The camera at the back is 5mp and the camera at the front is 1.3, there is no flash so day time shots is the best, it has DLNA but not tried it yet. I'm getting 6 to 8hours from the battery, but I havent really been on it for long periods at time. The internet browser is very quick and the screen is very responsive when browsing. I'm Very pleased with the sony tablet, hope this review helps.

There are so many similar android tablets on the market, why buy this one?
1 It uses a full size sd card not micro sd. This is really great if you use a digital camera. When I was on holiday I used the Sony to upload my pictures to cloud storage as a back up
2 The 9 point something screen is the best size for me. 10.1" tablets are slightly too large for me, 7" too small. I find this tablet easy. To hold for long periods.
3 It has infrare so makes for an excellent universal remote

The Sony Tablet S is unique for being different and not trying to copy Apple. The Acer's and Samsungs are trying too hard to copy Apple and you are left with a marketplace full of Tablets that look the same and do the same thing but not as good as Apple.
Then there is the Sony Tablet S which goes against the norm and gives you a very good product, the wedge concept to allow the user to type easier actually works. It is heavier and thicker then other tablets but you do not really notice it. Furthermore the lure of being able to turn the tablet into a wireless picture frame and allowing you to use your PS3 Controller to play your games is appealing and it works.
The battery life is not great when compared to other tablets but it suffices for playing games and watching films and music for day.
Lastly, with Ice Cream Sandwich coming on the way, you have a worth Tablet with the latest technology and software. Yes people may say it does not have a dual or quad core processor but how many applications actually utilise such processing power? Hardly any so why spend £500 on a Tablet that has such power when you can not use it. So your better off buying a cheaper tablet like the Sony Tablet S and maybe invest in a quad or dual core tablet next year when you get newer models with better processors and a application marketplace with apps that can utilise the processing power.

The sony tablet s is one of the best android products selling today in my opinion, the screen isn't to small like the 7" android products or the 10" or more screen sized products. The design of the product is very spectacular, ok I really love it ya.
