Great product good working condition. No instructions on how to use it though but they were easily obtainable online. Great picture quality and not to complicated to use for a lay person like me!

For a first time user/owner of a DSLR camera, this one is excellent, easy to use features and quite self explanatory. I was expecting the camera to be quite heavy but found it surprisingly light for its size. Only bad thing i have found is the wife wont let go of it!!!!!!! Overall I am made up with the camera and its features.

For the first-time DSLR user, the A290 is a consistent performer that offers really good value for money. Simple to use,offering good image quality, there is really not much to criticise at all. It does lack more of the advanced features, and it seems a bit plasticky, but for a first-time DSLR user it offers an excellent entry point to the world of digital photography. While the supplied 18-55mm kit lens is a suitable to begin with, buying a better quality lens makes this an all round superb piece of kit!

A great DSLR with an easy to use interface for those first-time users like myself. Great quality of pictures and plenty of functions to play with, although more updated models have more features.

All in all, a great camera for first-timers or even experienced users.
