Less pixels than the A350, but far superior picture quality.
Great high ISO quality, including no noise reduction for high ISO setting.

Sometimes you are better sticking with what you have than trading up to the replacement.

Exellent starter DSLR,great picture quality.Try a minolta 35-80mm AF lens(30-40 £ found on ebay)Got mine off an old minolta SLR.Best lens I've used so far.When buying secondhand ensure you check with seller the condition of the sensor,as the one I bought had a dust specs on it,you can clean this yourself by putting the camera into cleaning mode to show the sensor and brush the sensor off with a very clean soft brush.Then carefully hover a hoover over the opening to remove any dust.You can check the sensor by taking two photo's of the sky,one in focus and one out of focus.If the sensor is dirty you will see black or blurred specks on the image.

I bought a dslr because i have to photograph extreme close ups, I found this camera excellent for ease, the features are great and this entry level dslr is just perfect for any budding photographer. I would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about buying one. My only regret is not buying one years ago!

Pros: Fast response from viewfinder to live view
Great pictures even in auto mode
Sleek and cool design, just the right size
10.8 megapixels is the best resolution for DSLR no more, no less

Cons: A little heavier than the newer alphas

Entry level DSLR.. You get what you pay for & although this camera has some nice features i quickly outgrew it & spent a couple of hundred quid more for the a550. A much better camera..
