Soundtrack - Top Gun (Original , 2001)

Love the compilation structure of this cd the melodies seem to take you back to the eighties "heaven in your eyes" by kenny logins,"take my breath away"-berlin and the more fast paced tracks of "through the fire" -larry greene and "playing with the boys" again kenny logins then to finish with the harold faltermeyer and steve stevens "top gun anthem" the best trsck for me must be "destination unknown" by marietta this takes me back to the eighties in a flash!! finally "mighty wings" by cheap trick for a fast paced ride on a f16 wow!!!

I bought this CD. because I love Berlin. The track TAKE MY BREATH AWAY is excellent !
I watched Top Gun recentely, and just had to have the soundtrack for it !

The Top Gun soundtrack has some of the cool songs from the film such as 'Danger Zone' and 'Take My Breath Away', but is missing 'Great Balls of Fire', which I'd say should be on there, and doesn't have '(She's Lost) That Loving Feeling' - the most memorable song of the film! I don't think it really qualifies as a film soundtrack if the one song that people would really remember from the film isn't on there.

i bought this top gun cd,as its great to listen to when driving.

Top gun was a film i watched in the 80s, and really loved this movie.The soundtrack to this film is excellent, i recommend this soundtrack to anyone who has seen the movie and enjoys the music in the film.
