BRILLIANT film not only for entertainment value, but for the subtle twists and turns of each set of scenes, I've rewatched it dozens of times to catch the quantum level storyline about the nature of time, the use of cues and clues in language, imagery and music, and the reflections and repetition of same very intelligently woven throughout the film. Symbolic of things way more philosphical than just a train ride! GroundHog Day with a dynamic edge......
A great watch if you have a "codebreaker" mentality! Compare Donnie Darko and other movies as Source Code has reflections of a number of themes woven through by way of almost subliminal references.. ie a Frank Rabbit head in the background of the capsule.. See how memory is presented as going in both forward and backward directions of time.. you take a look for yourself, and ENJOY.. you could watch it forever and keep noticing something new...
If you liked Donnie Darko and Twelve Monkeys you'll LOVE this!

Purchased this movie after watching a trailer. It's an excellent film, good plot, very different. Jake Gylenhall is given 8 minutes in another man's body to find out who left a bomb on the train. 8 minutes isn't very long so he has to be sent back time after time, trying to find the bomber but also trying to understand what's happening to himself.

After reading a few reviews, i had high expectations of this film. The idea was really imaginative, basically using a dead persons brain to connect with the past and prevent a bomb attack, but somehow the way it was done left me with a feeling of disappointment. As usual a certain amount of sentimentality crept in, which i think detracted from the feel of the film, although i realise that the reason he wanted to go back in the end was to save the girl! The CGI looked somehow second rate as well. Still, it was an all action film with some great ideas.

Brilliant film, I loved it!!! Cross between Quantum Leap, Sliding doors and Groundhog Day. Fast, exciting with a bit of a romantic interest so a really good date or grown up family movie, I watched it with my partner, daughter aged 23 and her boyfiend and we all enjoyed it.
Highly recommended.
