An Iconic Band of the 70's, 80's and 90's.

Created: 04/03/07
I grew up listening to bands such as Mike and the Mechanics, Toto, Eagles, Steely Dan, Sad Cafe, Queen and so many others that set the bench mark for the best music of a generation.

Im 26 now, and since before I was born my father has worked for large banks, in the Finance sector and with that he would travel around the country ALOT. From when I was very young myself and my sibling would go around the country with him, driving what felt like thousand of miles just to get to another city.

All through those journeys my father would have on one of his CD's, and with it came all my earliest memorys of bands like those listed above.

This particular CD was one that I heard over and over again, so I knew it through and through by the time was old enough to be able to afford a CD player of my own.

I had owed this collection for a number of years, but it's started to fade and skip due to wear and tare, so, as with all good things that you can part with, you seek to either replace or duplicate, and for me there really only was one place to turn to for an ORIGINAL pressing of such a band, EBAY.

I have used Ebay for a number of years, always on the look out for good things at cheap prices.

I couldn't be without my music, and I couldn't listen without ebay.

Hard bitten, knowing and cynical but great songs from the darkside of west coat America. Part of the soundtrack of the past, great to have it again.
