Technics

This is one of the best all in one Hi-fi systems on the market. It has a 5 disc DVD changer and plays almost anything you put into it, all sorts of formats.
The sound is great, more than enough power for a decent sized room, and the satelite speakers come with enough cable to create the optimum listening position.
The only slight inconvenience is there is no Digital Optical input into the system, so if you wish to connect another device to enjoy 'Dolby Digital' sound it is not possible. However there is 'Dolby Pro Logic' software built in which is just as good but not the real 'Mccoy'.
All in all its a fantastic system.

Technics SCDV 290 EXCELLENT SOUND
Created: 18/12/10
I have had this particualr system for 4 years now, it is my fourth technics hi fi system as I have continually purchased their midi systems from the early 80`s. it is still producing superb sound, i have now connected it to my 50" lcd tv and can now use the system to watch dvd through the 5 speaker surround sound system which gives a better experience of watching my favourite movies now. I don`t use the cassette decks anymore.but would have loved a turntable on this model as all other midis I had used the linear tracking tables, but I would recommend Technics to anyone choosing a midi hf fi system

I had one a number of yrs ago,and it was the best system i ever brought but had it stolen.with the dvd player as well if you got a small bedroom its saves space without having a seperate DVD player and not having to put up any shelving,i know someone who has a DVD system and the sound qulity is brilliant, but as of yet i aint got one, thats why i wanted one for my daughters bedroom as it is small.i can not find any fault with technics when you buy the right one.But i brought one that was not up to scratch SO ill wait for the right one to come along when i have got the money

Looks Fancy, Great Sound, Home Cinema in a Space Saving Hifi, Good DVD Picture Quality, Feature Rich, Fantastic DVD Audio Reproduction. CRACKING SOUND QUALITY, LOADS OF FEATURES. I would prefer Technics over any other sound system. Its a complete Home Audio & DVD Surround system. The speakers are from space. WOULD RECOMMEND.
