The Hobbit. An excellent story by Tolkien.

    Created: 10/05/11
This is usually stocked under 'Children's Fantasy'. Completely disregard this, its for all ages. If you've read the LOTR and want too know, like I did, how Bilbo acquired the Ring, Sting and Mithril, then this book supplies the answers.Even if you've never read Tolkien before you will find this an excellent 'stand-alone' book.
Bilbo loves a peaceful life but when Gandalf comes on the scene that all changes. With a band of Dwarves he is dragged into an adventure moaning all the way and yet when necessity demands it he always seems to do the right thing mostly with a fair share of luck.
    A most enjoyable book.
