TomTom ONE IQ
Bought this as Xmas present for Hubby. Very over priced for the quality of sat nav. Its using a very slow programme that firstly takes nearly five minutes to find satellites [my Tom Tom takes a few seconds].
Secondly when putting in addresses it won't allow you to put in the whole postcode, which frankly is about as much good as a chocolate fire guard. The programme installed is a 1995 programme. Being six years behind in this type of technology is like comparing a 1950's car with the latest car on the market, worlds apart.
There are some redeeming features its small enough to fit in the palm of your hand comfortably and the mount can be fitted inside it, so not leaving visual clues to would be thieves. It can also be used as a hand held when walking and being small its not cumbersome.
It is possible to update it via Tom Tom website and pay to download the latest programme.
I really wanted to send it back for a refund as I was so disappointed, but hubby wanted to keep it because of its handy size. To have to update the programme from day one I feel is poor given that its brand new and considering the price paid.
Overall I really do not feel it was only worth half of the price charged.
It is a very very basic model which doesn't even have Bluetooth installed.
I had expected better for my money.
Though this model is very disappointing, Tom Tom as a brand I feel is good quality.

Poor atitude from TomTom towards Mac users - useless!
| No, I wouldn't recommend this product.
Despite claiming device is compatible with MAC OSX, it is not. The device does not have enough memory to hold more than one map so if you're travelling between countries you will need to upload different maps. If you have a Mac this is not possible.
TomTom have known about this issue for a long time now, but have not dealt with it.

good stuff. I have been looking for a sat nav for a while... only used once so far but appears really easy to use. Not sure how the battery is as i was using it on charge in the car
very pleased with this sat nav, battery life is excellent, the windscreen mount is perfect for me! (jumping in and out of the vehicle 30 odd times a day) i can quickly snap of the sat nav and place it in my pocket, and quickly snap it back on when i return.
definitely recommend this sat nav unit, only issue with it which may bother some people is it does not support blue tooth hands free for your mobile.
