looks sleek and modern and is a nice size with the larger screen thats better than the smaller one.touch screen is nice and responsive.
the dock can be abit fiddly to use but once you got the hang of it its ok.
comes with usb,in car charger and instruction book in the box.no case!
overall a excellent unit that should stand the test of time! i highly recommend this satnav!

Having used TomTom GPS units for the past six years, I found this one to be good value easy to use, but the battery life is average and I had to replace the battery to get the best out of the unit. The navigation is good but can some times be a bit slow to responde and in-accurate in regards to new roads and changes in old roads. But all-in-all this is a great unit that dose what it says on the tin. I would give this unit 8.5/10.

I bought this as I was due to go away for the weekend with my sister and her two young children - we were visiting 2 different theme parks and staying at 2 different hotels - the TomTom was a life saver! Clear instruction from start to finish - brilliant when leaving the route because of being stuck in jams - quickly re-routed and got us out of a long wait. Much easier than shouting at you passenger 'you've got the map just make a decision!'. The speed camera warning is a bit annoying but I'm sure you can turn that off - just need to figure out how! overall love it

Tomtom xl2 iq review

Value for money nice looking product and very easy to use. I always had tom-toms and they been fantastic. Few months ago I got a garmin mio and I have to say that it's no where near the quality of tomtom, tomtom cost more but it's far more superior and more easy to use and much more precise for navigation a lot more accurate the any other brands. Buy tomtom with confidence and spend the extra money cause it's worth it.

Very usefull product was bought for my fiancee as she has very little knowledge of directions and how to get to places. the on screen lane viewer (not sure its real name) has been extremly helpfull as she often forgets which lane she has to be in on motorways and ends up having to take alternative routes. Overal the product has been great value for money
