TomTom XXL IQ Routes Edition - Europe Automotive GPS Receiver

Really good product .This version has excellent IQ route planning and a better lane changing view in motor ways.
Having had various other brands, both aftermarket and factory fit this is my first TomTom and I have to say I am disappointed.
I appreciate this is towards the cheap end of the range but the maps don't just lack richness, they give the appearance of driving across endless miles of featureless desert.
The time taken to calculate routes has run into 6-7 minutes on more complex ones which is unacceptable.
The web interface is good however and the extra voices etc. add a little to what is a fairly underwhelming experience.
Bottom line is that my previous unit (Becker Z098) was far more impressive given it was £25.00 cheaper, shame about the dodgy power connector."

This is a fantastic sat nav. The 5" screen is clear and bright. It is very easy to use. The features are fantastic, especially the lane guidance and IQ route features. You can download so many voices, map colours, car icons, POIs, etc from your TomTom Home. The only downside which I can think of is that it does not support an external memory. The internal memory is only 2Gb, so when you update or buy new maps, you can only download 1 mapzone at the time, which is an inconvenience more than anything else. Overall, it's a great product, and I would recommend it.

IF YOU NEED A SAT NAV ONLY USE A TOM TOM THIS MODEL IS THE BEST. 3 OF MY MATES ARE NOW LOOKING TO BUY THIS AWESOME MODEL. I WISH I HAD ONE YEARS AGO. MANY THANKS FOR LOOKING GOOD LOOK.

Changing from TomTom on my pocket PC to this XXL was mind blowing, It is truly an awesome piece of kit, The size of the display and the volume made this a pleasant transition, I would truly recommend it to anyone.
