Good value for money - WD 320GB Hard drive.

Needed a new hard drive for my daughters broken laptop. She already had a Western digital drive so this was a direct replacement albeit a larger capacity.
The drive is quiet, pretty much silent, and was pretty much plug and play since we were installing Linux on it.
Likes/dislikes? Likes: Quiet, capacity boost (320GB) to our original (120GB), no problem to install - straight swap, at under £37 - a bargain. Dislikes: So far, none.
The vendor was quick to send the drive out so it arrived safe and sound a couple of days after I bought it. I didn't have to sign for the goods when they arrived by post as was stated at the time of purchase so I didn't get the chance to sign for it as 'unchecked' in case of any damage. So if you are buying one be aware that the package will easily fit through your letterbox so watch if you have a tiled or hard floor like I do. That said it was well packaged, a jiffy bag inside a jiffy bag, inside a plastic bag, so luckily no damage was done.
All in all I am happy with my purchase. We have saved a laptop that would otherwise have gone in the bin!
