Hi :)
I was using Nikon SB 800, and was on the market for some extra speed light what I could use to highlight background/hair/rim light..
I found that YN-460 II, did some research, and decided that should do the job for me, and ordered one, without expecting too much..
A few days later my YN 460 II arrived.
I was very nicely surprised after playing with it for a while as build quality, size (same size as Nikon SB 800) and performance was way better that I was expecting, in fact I was so happy with it, that I already bought another one :)
If you r Nikon user (as I am) and looking for a flash that could be triggered by build in flash on your Nikon camera, than that little YN 460 II will do the job just fine, for very little money (you have to set it up to S1. Or S2 mode if used with other Nikon speedlights in CLS system)
You still have to set power output manually, but can trigger that flash without the need of any wires (as long as you in doors, or outside in the dark..)
Cons:
1- Battery doors feels a bit clumsy, but not to the point where it could actually cause any real problems, as long as you treat it gently.
2- dos not come supplied with that plastic omni bounce diffuser, but if you have a Nikon SB 800 you can use the omni bounce that came wit it, as it fits the YN 460 II PERFECTLY.
3- no sync port (you can always buy a small hot shoe sync port adapter if you really need it..)
Overall, I'm very happy with that speed light, and would recommend it to any one who is on the market for good MANUAL flash for very little money, just make sure you buy the MK II model as it is more powerful and better build (Metal hot shoe instead of plastic one..) than the older MK I version.
Best Regards
Krzysztof K

For a beginner flash, I have found this excelent value for money. Brought with Yongnuo rf602 trigger/reciever, this makes an excellent combination.
Cheap, versatile and easy to use.
I am very happy with it.

Not only is this an inexpensive option for those who take the first steps in the word of flash lightning it is also a well built flash for use as secondary flash since it has a slave mode that fires when the main flash has been fired.

Excellent for off-camera strobist work. Honestly does everything I need. It would be nice if it had high speed sync but even that isn't really necessary unless you are trying some really extreme stuff. These have to be one of the biggest bargains in photography! 10/10.
