Very well made, and on my D40 works perfectly. On my D200 though I have to pre-set FVLOCK (which fires the flash) prior to every shot to use it in TTL mode, and won't work at all with red-eye reduction. No problem in manual mode. On both cameras, the exposure is spot on.

The only part of this flash that isn't quite so high quality is the battery cover which has been mentioned by others. Its a little fragile and feels like it wouldn't take a lot to break it.

Very good for the price.

If you have a Canon and don't want to spend 3 times as much for a Canon Speedlite, this is one of the best choices for your money.

TTL, wireless sync and good value for the money. Buy a pack of 4 AA rechargeable batteries and you are good to go.

I bought one to bring some light into my amateur photography. I was reluctant to buy a Canon one just for learning, as it was far too pricey compared to this one and I think I choose the better one (in price and value wise).

I do really recommend for amateur photographers!
