The Alinco DJ-446 is a two-way radio that provides a number of channels for business, personal, and leisure usages. It provides a number of customizable options, including 312-channel modes, power modulation, and standard scanning features in a fairly rugged package. This Alinco two-way radio works on 8 PMR446 channels, but what makes it stand out are the 39 CTCSS tones, which enables users to have multiple options over a given channel. While it takes a few key presses to set this, it's easy to synchronize radios with an audio connection. Users can also reduce battery consumption by using the low-power feature, although it works up to about three miles. There are also 30 memory settings for Alinco two way radio users who frequently meet up with friends or family, and the 700mAH NiMH battery can be used for up to a day in ideal conditions before it needs to be charged.
