Alpine SXE-1025S 2-Way 10.16 cm Car Speaker

i once bought four of these, brand new from halfords, cost me an arm and a leg, and i quickly found, that despite their small size, and the relative low power that they run at, they are one of the most all-round good speakers on the market in my opinion... for example, over the sony's which i'd had previously, i found they gave a much clearer sounding response to quick changes in volume, and to higher volumes, without distorting, at all....

the only problem i ever had with them was the lack of a protective grille over the speakers i had in my old set, which meant that i had to be careful with them when mounted flush into a door panel or in a door build, the best place for these is really as a replacement for o.e speakers, behind the better grill that comes as standard on cars....

Replaced the speakers in my c1 with these, a great improvement on the cardboard ones that where already installed. Easy to cut the flaps to make it fit, a 2 min job with the hacksaw. They sound amazing!
