The only issue is finding a wifi card that isn't the ridiculously priced airport card. Most wifi cards are PCI, this is PCI X. I ended up buying a USB dongle, which is another problem, there aren't as many USBs as I would like.
I'd say it's as fast, if not faster than a base model 2006 intel white Macbook.
