Babyliss Easy Cut Clipper for Men delivers an even cut all-around, and you can do it by yourself withouth the worry of cutting your hair wrong. The included precision trimmer just makes the package even better. This product will save you money from going to the barbers if all you wanted was a clean SHORT wash cut, which is the reason why I bought this product in the first place and a purpose served well. It is also very easy to clean.

However,

The Easy Cut Clipper has difficulty cutting hair on the side of your head. So, getting an appropriate clean cut was quite challenging and time consuming. For me, it took around 2 hours. And, I find the cut too short for my liking, even though it was set to the longest cut, which is around 3mm-5mm long. Not for self-styling hair enthusiast, I say.

But, nonetheless it DID give me an even clean cut, which was my primary reason to buy it. (I knew style was out of the question since I'm no hairstylist). I give it a 4 out of 5.

Essentially the title of this isn't quite accurate - it should read:

Don't buy this hair trimmer unless you have a square head.

I thought the design looked great and would make hair cutting easy - how wrong I am. It is slow and laborious to use, and the design of it means that it is really difficult to get an even cut. The area around the back of the head (the one that is hardest to do yourself) is virtually impossible to cut using this device if you have the normal 'valley' running from the base of your skull down your spine. You simply cannot get the trimmer into that 'valley' and I had to resort to my trusty Wahl clippers to get that bit done.

Bottom line is that this is a great example of marketing over product design and I am kicking myself that I bought into the marketing. Don't buy if you don't want the same experience as me.

Great product, this product enables you to cut your own hair a must for anyone who cuts their hair at home using clippers. It is easy to use and even stores the hair you cut! Simply set the telescopic guide to one of 6 cutting lengths to get exactly the look you want.

It seems like everyone who has reviewed this item thinks it's either brilliant or rubbish. I bought it thinking the only way I could really find out was to see for myself, and I'm happy to say that I'm pretty pleased with the result. I think it's reasonably priced and does a good overall job. The length settings are easy to set, although the plastic trim guard can feel a little uncomfortable on the top of your head it's certainly not painful and I had no lasting effects after I'd used it. I'm sure it's not the most even cut that you can get but there's nothing easier to use by yourself. Obviously it's not much good for doing edges and detail but to be fair it does come with a small electric trimmer for that. Only negatives are that it seems to take a long time to charge and also I find that it doesn't hold in all the hair as advertised. Still the best trimmer I've used and I'd recommend it to anyone who just wants an easy way to cut their own hair and save some money.
