Belkin F5D8233-4 300 Mbps 4-Port 10/100 Wireless N Router (F5D8233uk4)

With it's black outer casing, this Belkin N Wireless Router is a sleeker-looking model of router. Not only does this product work for me, it looks nice enough for me to want to have on top of my work desk! It uses a simplistic system of lights that show you the status of any part of your network setup. It shines a nice blue hue when all is well, and flashes amber when there's trouble amiss. Troubleshooting is almost a no-brainer.

I got this installed into my network at home, and in less than 5 minutes I was up and running. I use a Macbook, Gentoo, PS3 and Wii and the network cooperated with it nicely.

One thing you want to do once you set it all up is to set up a WPA2 password for the router by going into the System Settings. Also changing the name to something more personal so it's easier to identify is a good idea.

Your mileage may vary, but as for me, no "intermittent disconnections" or "flaky coverage" here, and I can detect 17 wireles networks in my area... pretty high traffic, but the Belkin holds well against interference.

Throughput is as good as the ground-up connection you're getting. Users who have superfast access 24MB will love the throughput as they go wireless on this router, combined with 802.11n. In fact, I still get four bars on my iPhone's wi-fi from the router as I sit in my car in the driveway!

Anyways, that's my experience. I give it five stars because of its sleek design, no-hassle installation, and it works very well for the price you pay.

I bought this product, because my ISP has given me a crappy modem for my internet and i wanted something special and reliable.So i bought this to enchance my net. I gotta tell you its really fantastic ! The wireless range of this product is very good - i have a strong signal having left my house 20m away ! It has 64MB RAM installed; it connects to the internet very fast and has a good firewall protection ! the encryption is very good and reliable too.. For the design.. well its very futuristic and i really like the light blue leds, its very nice ! it's really a good bargain !

This is a qualty, reliable and fast wireless bt connection router. Using through out of the day from web browsing to hd gaming. Can handle muiltples devices at once.
It even has a cool looking design what looks business.
The price for this device is brillant compared of what it's capable of doing.
Tho need to be good with computers/ understanding to set up with your bt connection broadband supplier!
But had to use belkin support team to help me set up over the phone. What only took 15min !!!! good support team !!!!!
So compared to the price (£10-£20)amazing espcialy with the bundle deal with the belkin N dongle.

Works perfect with my Virgin cable broadband,very fast even when me,my daughter and my husband,we all using the wirelles in the same time.I will definetly recommend this router.Perfect.

I bought this router to replace my 12 year old Linksys router which never had a problem until now. I am not disappointed with this Belkin router. It took me 2 minutes to configure it through a web browser and get the wireless setup. Range is good, I have it the loft in the peak of the roof and it easily covers the whole house and the shed outside. Highly recommended.
