) I had used a Brother thermal label printer before at work, which is why knew that this product would be suitable for what I wanted, but that model was old - this one is much newer and has many more features.
Tape is available in a variety of widths (up to 12mm), colours and styles, including iron-on fabric tape for labelling clothes ! The printer has 2 fonts, and several different styles and sizes within those fonts. It can print on one or two lines and with or without frames - it can even generate a sequence of labels containing incrementing serial numbers or print vertically instead of horizontally. It runs of batteries or a mains adapter and is dead easy to use.
It's great for labelling cables, boxes, plugs, jars - anything where a neat, self-adhesive label can be applied.
A useful gadget to have around the home - you will find loads of uses for it.

Excellent printer. Needed for secure labelling of seed trays for greenhouse. Found it is also good for the freezer
