This dewalt screwdriver is both manual and elctric, the spindle locks as soon as you release the trigger. It is compact yet very powerful. It allows you to operate in very tight spaces where a cordless drill/driver just would not fit. The boddy privots at about two thirds length to allow you to have a pistol grip configuartion very useful for using it a s a mini drill which is more than possible with the purchase of some hex pilot drills. I fine this very handy for such projects as furniture making and kitchen fitting as the space is often linited. I am able to use it for both pilot driling and screw driving. With the inculusion of two batteries you never run out of charge no matter how hard you use it and as its a Dewalt you know you have industrial strength and reliability in your tool. I would recommend the driver to anyone.

I was very pleased with the performence and condition of the item purchesed. The batteries took a little while to charge to full power and getting use to the slow speed setting after having the higher performing drivers also took some time but the DC600 got into all the places where the diver could not!
