Dyson DC14 All floors Upright Vacuum Cleaner

Sick and tired of buying cheaper vacs and them not lasting, or usually, being totally rubbish. I only ever bought so called cyclonic, supposedly high suction, pet friendly cleaners. Utter rubbish each and every one, so I have gone back to Dyson. There is genuinely no loss of suction, I have a full 5 year guarantee. It picks pet hairs up no problem. I have dust allergies and since I have been using my Dyson again, my allergies are under control. I love it and its in a really cool colour too (aubergine and silver) It is really easy to push and use. Would never buy any other brand now.

I needed to buy a new vacuum cleaner after my old Dyson had packed up. It had been a constant workhorse for over 4 years and having a golden retriever who constantly moults it was always on the go and I needed to buy one quick smart!
I knew I wanted to buy another dyson as I had been so impressed by my previous one. All the claims they make are true, no loss of suction, brilliant for picking up anything, including pet hairs.
The only downside is the weight, I find it a struggle to get it up and down the stairs and it is a bit cumbersome, ie for hoovering out the car, but that said, I suppose if you need that kind of power in a machine there has to be a pretty big heavy motor inside.
I was put off slighlty by the price, they are a good investment, but I haven't got the kind of money to be throwing around and £300.00 is a lot to find. I found a shop on e-bay that sells refurbished or shop seconds at a fraction of the price, but still with 12 months dyson guarantee, so that was good enough for me!
To anyone who is not sure, I would highly recommend a Dyson, yes you do get people who have problems, but not every manufacturer is perfect and not every machine suits every person.

An excellent hoover!! Extremely easy to use and such a joy to not have to change those awful hoover bags!!! So simple and easy to empty, just lift the compartment off the main hoover body, place it over the bin and pull the lever to empty the contents! Its that easy! You also have the added bonus of being able to see exactly what you're hoovering up and just how much of it there is!! I find it rather worrying that despite the carpet (a cream one too!!!) looking clean, I'm in awe of just how much this Dyson still picks up!! Amazing suction!
This particular model also comes with the option to adjust the hoover to carpet or wooden/tiled flooring, which makes such a difference. It comes with various handy tools for getting into all those little crevices, and the stairs and upholstery/curtains, all neatly and firmly clipped onto the main body, yet still nicely out of the way!
The extendable hose is a godsend! No more dragging hoovers up the stairs as you go! Leave the hoover at the bottom of the stairs, hoover the whole staircase, plus reach up to the ceiling to get those cobwebs, and still the hose will stretch further! Brilliant! The final great idea is to have 2 clips that you can wrap the power cord (a long one too!) around so that it doesn't get all tangled up in storage! Well done Dyson, finally a hoover that makes my life easy!! Highly recommend this to everyone!

Prior to ebay search i went around to the likes of Comet Electrical Discount store in my Town, I saw similar model at 60 GBP more than ebay price, I found the salesman very smug and contented at not selling the Vacuum cleaner with some effort, He was perfectly happy it sold itself, no courtesy whatsoever.
Next I saw Curry's same price same indifference.
Then I saw Ebay lead directed to the sparestogo where I saw this same cleaner,
it works like a charm, with very little efforts of most home vacuum cleaners on the market, I even inquired thru the website abt the condition and quality of the product, quick came the reply, I need not worry, true to the word, it arrived factory packaged carton brand new, 1st impression lasts im sure, I will buy a more expensive product thru such reviews..in the future, what a excellent web based product suppliers, better than visiting showrooms where no one cares about service.

Absolutely fantastic. I love this vacuum. Its light but very strong. Im not worried about banging it or being to rough. Also pleasing to the eye. The clear bin and filter can be taken apart to be cleaned with cold water only. The wand extends to reach high places and also reaches to the top of the stairs. For hard to reach low places the wand dettaches from the hose so the tools can be fitted directly to the end of the hose which can easily reach round corners. Only takes one hand to empty the bin. There will be a Dyson suitable for everyone if not this one then another one.
