Epson Stylus SX235W All-In-One InkJet Printer

I purchased this printer to use with my Macbook Pro and my girlfriend's Macbook Air. It works well with Mac Lion 10.7. That's the good thing. However, the wireless connection is rubbish! We managed to get it connected for the first time, and the printing went well, but a few days later, when we turned on the printer for a few pages printing again, it didn't receive signal from both our laptops anymore. Too frustrated, we decided to use the cable instead. And we have been using cable since then.
Next, the printing speed is below average. I had 2 printers before, 1 from HP and 1 from Epson. Both of them were color printers, and both of them printed twice, even 4 times faster (economical mode selected). There's no economical mode here for this printer, meaning there's no way to save ink, and no way to increase the printing speed!
Besides, the printing quality is okay. The scanner works okay as well (though slower than my professional scanner, of course!). So if you're looking for an average all-in-one printer and don't expect much from it, this is not a bad idea.

What a fantastic little printer this is! Once the software is installed, and the wifi connection established, it is so easy to use, giving quality prints, to documents and photo's. The scanner function is superb, and unlike previous scanners this one is quiet, and even puts the document/photo in a place easy to find. I would recommend this Printer to anyone. 10/10

The Epson 235W is a good valued printer and dose a very satifactory job, you expect the price to be higher for the results that it gives. I am very satified with this purchase and also recomend to others who require affordable printing ink replacement is also very reasonable.

excellent purchase, this printer was really easy to setup, my little boy found it easy to understand the setup and wifi technology is a great plus because it make working with the printer so much fun

Having bought this printer as a stopgap whilst awaiting repair of my main printer I have been amazed at the resulting print quality from a 'budget' machine and am continuing to use everyday producing customer information sheets.It is simple to install/operate and reasonable on ink usage.
