I fell in love with this series and read all the book and listened to the audio books more times than I could possibly count.
The first two books were the most light-hearted of the series, and there are some truly classic moments in this book. The flying car sequence is excellent, Harry’s valentine had me laughing so much I had to stop the book, and Lockheart is just fantastic. It was equally gripping as Philosopher’s stone. I think the scene in the chamber of secrets is one of the best written sequences in the series. But this book also has a darker side too. I remember the shiver down my spine as I first heard the chilling voice of the Basilisk. I thought the series got better with every book, though I adore them all, but from here onwards, the series becomes a much more complex, deeper and many layered story, so enjoy the fun.

For children and adults alike, the Harry Potter series is an imaginative masterpiece, for anyone that has seen the films and even vaguely interested in reading the books, DO IT! The films do not do this marvelous creation justice in anyway. This book is particularly exciting with the introduction of new characters and getting to know the history of others, I cannot recommend this book highly enough, as a reader of many fiction and non-fiction novels this is in my top 10 books of all time, my number one being the Book of Mormon. Seriously, great value for money!

in this second installation of the famous harry potter series Rowling takes her readers on a rollercoaster ride of suspicion and intrigue into the secret bowels of hogwarts itself, with more about the house ghosts, an out of order girls toilet and secret language harry potter and the chamber of secrets is an awesome twisting ride through the magical wizarding world.

highly recommend reading all the books in order as they are so much better than the films :D

An excellent, superbly written book, entertaining from start to finish. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets follows Harry's adventures during his second year at the wizarding school, Hogwarts.

The Chamber of Secrets appeals to both children and adults alike - a very easy read!

I read these books when I was young and now I'm reading them to my son, and he loves them and so do I. There is nothing I dislike about Harry Potter, they are truly magical books.
