In order to defeat the powerful wizard, they must find and destroy Voldemort's last and most elusive Horcrux -- that is, the enchanted piece of soul allowing him to remain immortal -- before his nefarious plans come to fruition. David Yates, who directed the fifth, sixth, and seventh films in the series, returns for this last outing.

) Fantastic DVD. Probably one of the best Harry Potter films. I have watched them all now, and have loved every single one. But The Deathly Hallows part 2 was amazing, in both special effects and keeping you on the edge of your seat throughout.

I bought the DVD as I have all the previous Harry Potter films, but I found both of the Deathly Hallows films have been shot very dark, very hard to watch as the screen is very dark for most of the film.
I found the Deathly Hallows a bit of a let down compared to the previous films which is a shame as the previous films were very entertaining, easy to follow and watch.

"It all ends," says the poster slogan. A potentially grim statement of the obvious, of course, yet the Potter saga could hardly have ended on a better note. With one miraculous flourish of its wand, the franchise has restored the essential magic to the Potter legend – which had been starting to sag and drift in recent movies – zapping us all with a cracking final chapter, which looks far superior to CS Lewis's The Last Battle or JRR Tolkien's The Return of the King. It's dramatically satisfying, spectacular and terrifically exciting, easily justifying the decision to split the last book into two.

Excellent product, great family viewing film. A good all rounder with lots of action, fun and laughter in between! Suitable for all ages from young to old alike and nice to not have to see masses of blood or sex in a good film!
