Big and built to last - the Hayter Harrier 56
Created: 01/05/10
If you have a larger garden or are a jobing gardner, this wide cut does the job in half the time. Big grass bag means less stops and the heavy rear roller gives good stripes. Yes it is a little heavy, but once you've mastered using the autodrive and clutch it makes light work of cutting the grass. The one I bought was a few years old and had signs of wera and tear but the Briggs and Stratton engine keeps on going. I'm not sure I would pay over £1,000 for a new one, but pick up a good second hand one and you have a bargain.

Best 22" self propelled mower I have ever owned. Gives a nice stripped finish to the lawn, is easy to operate and as a good range of forward speed and cutting height. would recommend this mower to anyone with a large lawn.

The hayter mower does a great job of cutting the grass, the finish is probably one of the best. It is easy to use and quite hard wearing.

Have a huge lawn, like a cricket pitch, and for years had used an electric mower. This does the job in about a third of the time. Really a very good buy, and a great quality machine.

The finest 22" mower you can buy, aluminium body that can't rust and a fine engine. It will give you a professional striped finish and this machine will last for years, not cheap but well worth the money.
Ideal for the large garden and can be easily manouvered around flower beds and trees.
Their are some good second hand ones out there if you look for them.
