The Hitachi WH18DL is a lightweight and cordless tool useful for a multitude of drilling, driving, and fastening needs. The Hitachi cordless screwdriver is powered by an industrial-grade two-piece motor that features copper coil. This ensures that the tool is durable and able to handle heavy tasks. Even though it is powerful, the Hitachi impact driver will not become hot because of cool-flow technology that sends a steady stream of air to the motor to keep the temperature low. The Hitachi WH18DL is convenient to use with its non-slip rubber grip and mounted LED light. Weighing in at only 1.59 kilograms, the Hitachi cordless screwdriver can also be used without causing fatigue. The low weight can be attributed to the two HXP lithium-ion batteries powering the Hitachi Impact Driver, which weigh 50 percent less than Nickel-Cadmium (Ni-Cd) or Nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) batteries. The HXP lithium-ion batteries in the Hitachi WH18DL will also last for up to 1,500 recharges.
