intel pentium d 915
Created: 14/02/10
Nice little item, perfect step up from the P4, both socket 775 of course. You'll notice a big difference when running multiple tasks as you won't realise you are!!! pentium d's are renowned for running hot but in the defence of Intel, they are made to endure heat and a lot of it, stock coolers will suffice as long as they are correctly installed, idle at about 40c, load 45-50c.Aftermarket collers will reduce those figures by about 4-5c.
