JBL Control 1 Main / Stereo Speakers

Fantastic little speakers for the money!! I own 3 pairs of these for rear surrounds as part of a 7.1 HT set up. The sound they produce is quite remarkable given their compact size, crisp top end with clear vocals & plenty of bass. I found wall mounting them high up gave the best sonic results though. I have tried many speakers for rear surrounds like Mission 3ds, Kef 55s etc but these really do stand out with their performance for rear effects (Also very good in 2 channel stereo partnered with a sub) Only thing I found to watch out for is, DONT rely on the wire supplied to suspend speaker whilst wall mounting. The ferrel wasn,t crimped enough causing the suspended speaker to fall & break.

I ordered these speakers as i had 4 large floor standing speakers and i wonted to fit speakers on the wall, i have only ordered 1 pair at this moment, but i am more than happy with these JBL speakers as they handle 200 watts and my Hifi puts out 120 watts so they can take max power if needed. They look and sound good, i would be more than happy to order a 2nd pair.

Great, can handle a lot of power for such little speakers and the bass quality is very good for their small size. Would recommend. They come with useful wall brackets too.

The most clear studio quality monitors I have heard. On par with Tannoy and Mordaunt Short. Exceptionally powerful on the bass as well as crystal clear quality on the tweeter. I have never experienced such good support for parts for these speakers - the only fault with the pair I bought (as they were second hand) were missing JBL labels which I can order from Harmon Kardon (who either own JBL or are the distributors in the UK).

beasty set of speakers been looking for a cheap pair for ages as mine got burnt at a camp out there the best compact speakers ive ever had with quality bass and crisp clear sound
