Logitech K300 920-001488 Keyboard

I really like these keyboards - I first came across them when I was looking for something for our 3 tills as it needed to be smaller than a standard keyboard but still have a numeric keypad. I'm a bit biased anyhow because I really like Logitech stuff, I own 2 of their speaker systems, a 5.1 and a 2.1, 2 of their webcams and I've also ditched all my mice in favour of their trackballs, which are just great - I've also installed those on our 3 till computers as again when you're limited for space it's nice not to be bumping into things with a mouse all the time. Anyhow I digress, sorry - the keyboard is really nice, and well worth the low price they go for - you'll get one for as little as £12.99 if you shop around, but I've also seen them being offered for well over £20 by some of the more money-grabbing stores out there. I think when you're buying something made by Logitech, you can be assured that it will be of decent quality and it will generally work very well, which this keyboard does. I'd recommend them anyone looking for a good quality USB keyboard

My 13 year old son was really dissapointed when this keyboard arrivied as he thought that the whole keyboard lit up in red like the picture in the advert.
But when it arrived it only lit up a few keys and wasnt want my son wanted. We were then faced with the whole time consuming hassle of sending it back getting a refund and waiting for another keyboard to come. I was initially annoyed at him for ordering the wrong item, but when I saw the picture I too thought it looked as though the whole keyboard lit up with red lighting.Please dont allow this type of misleading advertisment on ebay.It wastes everyone time and leads to dissatisfaction all round.

Logitech K300 Backlit Compact USB Keyboard Black QWERTY?
On this keyboard there is no illumination? Why write that it Backlit?

I had an issue with this keyboard knocking out my old speedtouch mudusa USB headset when i plugged it in, took a few attempts to get them both working together but now i have i am very happy, the keyboard is very light to type on and as a gamer i use a Wolfking gaming pad so not too worried about using it for that, it is also small enough to not get in the way when using my G27 Wheel.

Great little keyboard, has a good feel to it and looks nice too - be aware of what you're getting with this though, if you want a backlit keyboard it's just the function keys that light up (I know some people might look at this model by mistake). If you want a keyboard that takes up a bit less room than the standard sized ones this is the one for you.
