) fantastic book that the dvd of the same title was based on the book is alot more descriptive and graphic (more than the film can portray) riveting and saddening read about a girl who was murdered by a paedophile just as she was about to blossom into womanhood her life was snatched cruelly away before she had chance to enjoy all the exeriences and firsts that her teenage years would have provided (highly reccomended!)

Having heard many great reports on this book i thought i would give it a read, it is a great book and the author tells it so well from the point of view of suzie salmon, it invoked both tears and anger, I would definitly recommend the book although i was disapointed in the end that they never caught him! im a sucker for a happy ending :)

After seeing hte film last week I just had to get the book. Apparently the film does the book good justice so I cant wait to read it.
The story is very sad, heartbreakingly so but also very uplifting as well. Well worth watching/reading. But a warning - keep the tissues handy!
