I got these headphones because i was getting a bit tired of my ears aching during flights etc, and the good, though slightly lacking sound quality of my AKG 172's.
Dr. Dre's give such massive and clear bass, while still not overdoing it and making the sound quality "muddy".
The headphones are incredibly comfortable as they "rest" on your ears rather than press as they dont need air tightness to achieve noise cancelling, and the pads and inner cups are extremely soft so perfect for long flights/ journeys.
The mute button on the ear cups is very useful if you want to have a quick chat though unfortunately do not pause the music just mute it and take away noise cancelling. Good feature though.
However there are a few things that annoy me like how they have to use batteries to work so a bit frustrating if you are going on a flight and you run out.
Also they leak alot, so if in a "silent zone" on a train not perfect at loud volumes. At low volumes, thats how i usually keep them, they are fine, just a tiny bit of leaking.
Also the shiny black gloss that, though very modern and cool looking, are a massive fingerprint magnet, though to be honest this only annoys perfectionists most people wont care that much.
Those are my only moans apart from they feel a bit like they are gonna break on you when you put them on though that might just be me.
In conclusion, a great set of headphones. If in doubt get them, though i do not recommend buying them from ebay as you may come across fakes like I did. I recommend Amazon for their knock down prices and guaranteed authenticity.

Beats Studio by Dr Dre

This is a very expensive headphone and is also endorsed by a celebrity: never a good thing. Okay, it's cool and all of your "cool" friends might have one but when you whip out your Sennheiser HD 600 they will all be drooling over the immaculate sound quality. There are many more headphones out which are soo much better than the Beats. Audio Tecnika, Shure and Beyer Dynamics are all good product manufacturers which produce excellent products. Trust me, go for one of those headphones and you will not be dissappointed.
They may not have the "coolness" of the Beats, but they will blow them out of the water if you compare them to sound quality. Monster also claims that these headphones are noise cancelling..? Really? Really Monster? These are the worst noise cancelling headphones in the world. No joke. Bose makes some supreme noise cancelling headphones, which actually work. Don't buy them, but if you do.. Sell them on amazon for double the price to some kid who has no idea about music and headphones and let him think he's on top of the world while your listening to "real" sound. Don't make the mistake of buying this load of crap. I did, and now some other gullible idiot has them. Poor them.

The Monster Beats are amazing headphones but be very wary on Ebay. Apparently 90% on here are fake.
I have a friend that bought the exact pair I have from Amazon and after comparing mine to his I can see or hear no difference at all.
But certain signs are there that suggest mine are fake. I didn't get any batteries and the airline adapter is not the one supplied by new pairs.
Quite honestly these 2 things are insignificant and I still have a pair of headphones worth over £130.
Highly Recommended if you care about great sound, comfort and style.

The Monster Beats may not be all about style, but you wouldn't know that just by looking at them. If you wear these headphones in public, you will turn heads. The thick and padded glossy black headband descends seemingly seamlessly into the circles that hold each earcup, which are oblong and padded in a cushy leatherette material. (They also swivel slightly in their supports in order to provide a comfortable fit.) Closer inspection of the headband discloses a seam on each side where it expands, revealing the metal support band within. This same metal accents the inside of the headband and rings thinly around each earpiece, which also features rings of deep red accenting. The outside of the earcups also feature a metallic disc containing a red "b" (the one on the right will mute your music when pressed). The overall effect is a sleek and stylish design that is not ostentatious.

Well i get them and the first thing I wont to do is listen to somthing and they sound and perform. so the first thing I listen to Skrillex... it was like i never heard dubstep before. later I try Deadmau5 and hear beats things i'v never heard using standerd headphones. now people I know say that beats are are "Not worth it" or "Not worth the money" and "I just buy skullcandys and thell be beats any day" I have to admit there bit pricey but theve never heard through them befor and got conterfits and just hating. now dubstep electronic music isn't the only that sound good through these headphones, theres rap, rock, techno, jazz, and soft music.Im a big music lover and singer and artist and are good for playback. pretty much what im trying to is that people have some problems with these Beats but theres really nothing to bad about these headphones there good for quality but a bit pricy, these brand of headphones are people who really charish what there music sounds like and what they sound like.
Grade A+
