NetGear ProSafe GS105 (GS105UK) 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch

Well the GS105 is from the professional series by NetGear. So it is blue, and the casing is solid metal. But what is nice about this particular GS105 is the compact size of the unit. The facia is just big enough to hold the 5 ethernet ports.
Performance-wise, there is nothing to be desired with this little switch -definitely on a par with other ProSafe products, it's as good as it gets for an unmanaged switch.
I have a couple of those in my own personal office whereas enterprise-wise we use the rack-mounted ones. If you need a compact and fast switch, you cannot go wrong with this little gem.

It is simple to setup, plug in your cables plug in your power supply and thats it, no software, no setup required, plug and play all the way. great item to have if you need more ethenet ports, i used this to extend my home router which as they all do anly have 4 ports. no i can add additional products such as printers etc, and still get the super fast network speed (inhouse speed, not internet)
All round this is a must for anyone who wants to extend their network easily and maintain great speed.

Bought this item to extend an existing network. I wanted something sturdy and gigabit, but without a stupid price. This switch is ideal.

It is made of metal, has an extremely small footprint and can be set up in a matter of seconds.

This Netgear hub has a very good outer metal casing which is a nice professional finish its also very quiet when in use and takes virtually no power at all. Another Good Netgear hub. Well recomended to anyone.

ideal for house project like mine have brought 3 so i can hard wire all my house. will buy more in the future.
