NEW 7.0" Car GPS SAT NAV With Bluetooth 3D UK Map 4GB

We have had the 70" GPS SAT NAV for 7 days.
The user guide is not that detailed on how to use the sat nav program. Saying that, with some time spent looking around the menu options, navigation was mastered.

We have not driven through big cities yet, but on routes we have used, the Sat Nav for has been excellent.

The maps appear to be up to date, except for the location of petrol stations. In our locality the Sat Nav shows the location of petrol stations that have been closed for years.

The free map site is good, with map downloads for the world, although there is no need for this immediately as all maps are loaded on the sat nav's memory simm.

Playing MP3 files while navigating. the MP3 sound continues when direction and speeding announcements a made, it would have been nice if the MP3 sound is muted for the systems direction announcements.

Windows CE 6.0 is a nice touch, but there appears to be no exit to the sat nav's main menu. It appears the unit has to be switched off.

It comes with a 2 year warranty, there is no instructions as to where this warranty can be taken up.

This is probably, without doubt, the best sat nav that I have used. As a taxi driver it has many features that are important to me. Unlike other sat navs that I have had, this one shows you at a glance, the fastest, shortest,easiest and most ecconomical routes together on screen. It displays the house numbers on either side of the screen, which is ideal for my job in the hours of darkness.It has three trip computers, full post code search. The point of interests are absolutely fantastic and I would say are far superior to any other sat nav that I have seen. The other features are mp4 player, mp3 player, ebook reader fm transmitter and picture viewer, together make it a fantastic product for the price. I have now ordered a further four for my colleagues. I would reccommend this to anyone who wants a great sat nav.

As many others have said, if your wavering on whether this would be a good buy, chance it and you won't regret it. It has great maps that zoom and pan during driving, it has lane guidance (arrows) and symbols for the situations ahead, and it has pretty full screen artist renditions of more complicated junctions. Bluetooth, speed camera points, speed warning, fm transmitter......the full package!!! The only thing I can't find is an audio signal for speed camera points. But, rating wise: I give it 99.9%!!!!!!!!

excellent value, easy to use interface, easy to view due to large screen size.
This GPs system also has maps for Europe.
Remember to update maps when system tell you, these are easy to download from computer ( i recommend initaially on a seperate memory stick or sd card), and then transfer update files to sd card in system.
Remember to always keep a back up copy before renewing files in case transfer is unsuccessful or corrupts the pre update file(though this has not happened to me) it is recommended good housekeeping.
