Nikon F65 35mm SLR Film Camera Body Only

This is a great lightweight camera that can be bought for not much money. It is ideal for people who just want to concentrate on taking great photos on film without fiddling with settings, or as a backup camera.

The things to dislike about the camera are it has quite a small/basic viewfinder, does not have as many features as the more expensive cameras although the only thing most people would ever miss is the inability to select AF modes, and the buttons feel a little cheap and plasticy.

There is a lot to like though - the camera takes great photos, as good as any other 35mm camera. It is compatible with a wide range of Nikon lenses (electronic contacts, aperture feeler,and AF motor) and is lightweight so easy to carry around.

However, if you are considering buying a F65 then is worth considering the slightly newer film cameras like the F75 which is just as easy to carry around but has a few more features and the buttons are layed out more like Nikons current dSLRs

A good mid level SLR film camera, bought as not that long ago since Nikon stopped making these.
Easy to use with full auto functions to full manual with a good few preset and customisable programs in between.
Weight of camera is good as is balance, easy to hang around your neck.
Flash a little weak in some circumstances.
Have tried it out in various conditions both indoors and outdoors with fair results noting comment about flash.
Still early days with this camera yet so I cannot comment anymore.
I am initially happy with it though and paying less than 45 UK pounds for a camera of this quality is great!

I was very pleased when I bought this camera. I wanted it mainly as a back-up. But I was impressed because I really wanted to buy just the 70-300mm Nikon lens but this wasn't listed separately. The lens was only listed in the contents section. I would have been happy to pay £40 just for the lens; I already have an F65 but the extra accessories will come in handy and made the package much more affordable. Nikon quality at affordable prices - the benefits of E-bay.

Was looking for a quality slr camera for not too much money and found this to be the perfect item for the job.
