No regrets with the machine. I held out for a proper 1980s hardcore player, but there's no point. The USB connection is very versatile as I can encode the full-bodied sound quality into MP3. Compared quality with a recording made from a 1980s player, and this was very clear, hands down. I used an Aiwa record player. This has no automated stop or play, which I believe is better since you eliminate unwanted motor noise - and consider you'll be next to the player anyway so the features aren't that useful to have to begin with. Does have pitch control, but there is no strobe light to measure against the light frequency (50 Hz for UK, 60 Hz for US). There are ridges on the turntable itself, could that be used for pitch tracking?

Great for Sampling not the best built like the Technic brand but its a real good product for new upcoming producers learning about how to originally scratch & sample vinyl's & having the [USB audio] which fits in with our everyday 21st digital century world .

Very handy for converting vinyl to mp3 and as a general turntable; extremely good value and would recommend for general use with the benefit of usb upload.
The only downside is the slightly short USB cable but that can easily be replaced.

Loved the fact you can easily record your old record collection straight onto your ipod. Great product and is fantastic value.

With an ancient collection of vinyl I needed to update! Reviews of this product sounded good and I have not been disappointed.
