Philips DVP3111 DVD Player

What a smart looking piece of kit this is, I especially like the fact that there is no clock/counnter on the player itself which means I can switch the power off and not have to worry about resetting the clock again.

When I purchased my new TV for the bedroom I wanted a neat looking piece of equipment to go with it and I am happy to say that I found it.

Plays most types of disc's and is very quiet with great picture quality, if you are looking for a new DVD Player then this is the one for you. A very good low price too, got mine for under £15 !!!

It may be one of the cheapest on the market but it has nothing against it. For anyone looking for just a player this is a good choice. Nice and slim and easy to set up and use. The infra-red hand-set allows good control from a minimum of 5 metres. The scart socket (cable not supplied) allows easy connection to the television. Altogether an excellent DVD player at an affordable price.

Slim, streamlined and it does exactly what it says on the tin (well, box actually).

I got this item to replace a much more expensive HDD/DVD recorder but when the power failed, so did the recorder. As I now have a Sky+ box that records SKY programmes all I really need is a DVD player now and this Phillips DVD Player fits the bill perfectly.

It was a doddle to connect, power up and my TV picks it up immediately and it plays my DVDs beautifully. It even says it plays all region DVDs and for under £30 delivered it's even cheaper than having the dvd recorder repaired.

Happy with it and if it fails after the warranty runs out, it's not going to owe me much.

Fab product for the price. I now don't have to worry and checking whether the DVD's purchased will play in the machine.
