Handy small sized dab radio
Created: 08/05/11
A very handy size, easy to carry around, looks sturdy, neat and attractive. Has a lovely long battery life, longer than my other two much larger Pure radios.
I find the on/off and volume/search controls fiddly and irritating. The sound quality is rather 'tinny' but probably to be expected in this sized radio. It does cover 5 Live Sports Extra, but, the worst point, for me, is that it doesn't cover Yorkshire Radio, and as as result, I am on the look out for a similar sized DAB that has 'Yorkshire' in its range. Had I not required 'Yorkshire' I would say that, overall, this is a nice, neat little radio, with expected small size limitations, no major problems and a great bonus of long battery life.

Pure Move Radio

I bought my portable DAB radio specifically to listen to the Cricket ODI World Cup, I was fortunate to acquire a Pure Move on ebay. It had been refurbished by Pure and was "as new" and excellent exterior appearance, whats more it was half the rrp.
Since I've had it I have nothing but praise for it's performance, everything about it is satisfactory, I accept the speaker isn't hi-fi quality but it is clear and has an adequate volume range.

Great little DAB Radio

I heard Jazz FM had been added to DAB Radio and that my local Radio Station was going to be added shortly, so I was looking for a Portable DAB Radio I could take around the house and garden to listen to. This Radio fitted the bill. It's even got FM to listen to my local radio station before it's added to DAB. It's got a nice speaker to listen to middle of the road music, classical, and Jazz, but might not hit the mark for more modern Basey music. It's plenty loud enough to listen to even in the Garden. It's well built and the knobs and switches are well positioned to change channel or volume without needing to look at what you're doing. The battery lasts a long time. It also has an Aux input so I can even use it to listern to my ipod. Very pleased with it. The only thing missing that I might have looked for is a sleep function so I could listen to it when I went to sleep at night.

Pure move

Valuable portable radio: small, sensitive, with a really excellent internal speaker, probably its most relevant feature.
Very comfortable Li-ion battery, no need to remove it for charging.
Easy selection of transmitting stations, nice equalizer.
Attention: telescopic aerial easy to break, so is the rear standing bracket.
Aluminium front is better than all-black; here the silk-screen are vanishing.
One of the most elegant UK radio, indeed.
