UTILIZE LOW POWER MODE

1. Turn On Low Power Mode

I know that this may sound like a no brainer, but by turning on your low power mode, you can squeeze 3 extra hours out of your battery.  That's because Low Power Mode puts a stop to Mail fetching, Siri, background app refresh, visual effects, and more.  That's impressive, right?  While you are there, check out what's been using most of your battery so you can be mindful of it!
To turn on low power mode:  Go to Settings > Battery and switch on Low Power Mode.

3. Put Your Phone In Airplane Mode

Putting your phone in airplane mode is a good option when you are in an area of low coverage or if you don't need to make or receive calls or access data.  By enabling airplane mode, you stop the antenna from checking for signal, which saves a TON of battery life.
When I first heard this tip, I thought, "what's the point of having my phone if it's in airplane mode?"  However, did you know that you can use Wi-Fi when airplane mode is turned on?  Me EITHER!    If you need any  travel accessories for your phone, here you go!
Here's how: Tap on Airplane Mode > then Tap the Wi-Fi icon in the same row.

4. Adjust Your Screens Brightness

Adjust your iPhone’s brightness for an extra boost to your battery life.  Extreme screen brightness can be the single biggest iPhone battery drain!  You can quickly fix the brightness of your display using the slider in the Control Centre and sliding the brightness indicator to the left.   You'll also want to make sure that Auto-Brightness is turned off or down in Settings.  Here's how:  Settings > Display & Brightness > Slide left.

5. Turn Down The Volume

Who knew that volume makes a difference in your battery life, right?  If you are using audio on your phone, turn it down or use  headphones which won't use as much battery power.  You should also turn off your EQ (equalizer) to conserve battery power!
Here's how:   Settings > Music and turn EQ off.

6. Turn Off Background And App Refresh

I can almost guarantee that you don't need all of your Apps refreshing constantly, depleting your battery.
Here's how:  Settings > General > Background App Refresh, then disable the apps you don't want refreshed all the time.

7. Turn Off Push Notifications

A number of apps on your phone send you notifications when you probably don’t really need them to. This takes up battery power in a similar way that background refreshes do.
Here's how to turn off these notifications:  Settings > Notifications > then tap apps you don't want pushed notifications for.  Turn off "Allow Notifications".

9. Push Emails

If you don't need to know every time an email comes in from the server turn Push to off.  By doing this you can save battery life like no one's business, especially if you get TONS of emails.  FETCH your email instead.  You can choose different time intervals or fetch them manually (this uses the least battery power unless you are constantly "pushing" for your emails").
Here's how:  Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data > Press Push to Off.
